Receive a concealed carry permit upon successful completion of the basic NRA pistol course. Further gain confidence and skills necessary to defend yourself and others during dangerous encounters. Refuse to be a victim. Qualify for follow up tactical pistol training.
Unfortunately the places of comfort, learning, and worship are increasingly under attack. These locations are known to be "soft" targets. People can no longer wait for first responders to save us from active shooter incidents. Every minute matters during these violent circumstances. Everyone needs to learn how to defend against such occurrences. At the conclusion of this course, congregations, offices, and individual residents will become familiar with tactics that will gratly enhance a positive outcome in such situations.
The intermediate pistol course is developed to engage the basic shooter in marksmanship, and speed training. Along with these skills, the basic shooter will become familiar with several tactical drills designed to push them further than they think possible and improve shooter confidence.. Top shooter awards will be presented to the class top shooter. The advanced pistol course is a challenging continuation of the intermediate course. There will be a competition at the end of the day. Top shooter will be awarded top shooter, and a gift certificate.
Minimum of 50 rounds of ammunition. Hearing and eye protection is manditory.
Minimum of 500 rounds of ammunition. Level 1 retention holster, 3 magazines, and a 2 position magazine pouch.
